Dianna Fritzler
Oil Painter
KAGAN & BARON Gallery - What a dynamo this lady is! Her artwork only reflects one tiny facet of her brilliant enthusiasm for life

There is no greater life celebration for me than painting. All the elements of my journey - heart, soul, spirit, family, friends and body fall into place on the canvas. After reminding myself to listen and trust, I flood the canvas with red paint. From there, ebony lines and shapes emerge to provide a sturdy footing for the journey of color.

With the exuberance of a child who has just received her first pack of 64 crayons, I impetuously play and push pigments about my palette. After layering paint like phylo dough, I unearth bedrock colors and impulsively enshroud, scrub and scrape others until contentment surfaces.

With a scratch of my signature, I conclusively send my greeting of jubilance and thanks. And that, my friend, is my offering to you and the universe.
